Goldberg and Roman Reigns
WWE Smackdown on Fox after Royal Rumble 2022 kicked off with Paul Heyman explaining the WWE Universe why he betrayed Brock Lesnar and aligned with Roman reigns again when Goldberg made his shocking return. The Icon came out to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship at Elimination Chamber.
Goldberg was last seen in WWE at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 when he battled the Almighty Bobby Lashley in a Summerslam rematch. The Icon decimated the Almighty and disappeared until now. Goldberg will now battle Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber which will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Goldberg was previously scheduled to battle Roman Reigns back in 2020 when the Icon was the Universal Champion. Reigns was supposed to challenge the Hall of Famer at WrestleMania 36 when COVID came to the scenes and led to Reigns taking a hiatus from the company to stay away from any health issues.
The Elimination Chamber match card has become much better after Goldberg returned
The Elimination Chamber match card is looking very good until now when it has become much more better. The Premium Live Event that will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia will feature Becky Lynch who will defend her Raw Women’s Championship against the WWE Hall of Famer Lita.
The WWE Championship will be on the line when Bobby Lashley, Brock Lesnar, Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins, AJ Styles. Riddle, and Austin Theory enter the unforgiving Elimination Chamber structure. The Usos will also defend their Smackdown Tag Team Championships against the Viking Raiders at the event. And now that the Universal Championship match has been confirmed for the event, the WWE Universe is hyped up.
