Recently, a rumor surfaced on the internet that The Rock had some sort of involvement with this year’s class of inductees.
According to an initial report by Fightful, The People’s Champion had a role in this year’s Hall of Fame. It suggested that The Great One played a major role in deciding the inductees. In essence, they would be revealed as per the already-decided schedule. However, a recent report from Fightful debunked their initial rumor. It has been clarified that The Rock has no role in this year’s Hall of Fame ceremony.
Moreover, the grandmother of Dwayne Johnson’s Lia Maivia is among the highly talked-about people to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. However, it needs to be noted that the Hollywood star has no role as of now in the process related to the class of 2024. Therefore, the previous rumors of him being the one deciding the Hall of Fame inductees are hollow.
Besides, heavy-hitting names such as Paul Heyman, The U.S. Express and Bull Nakano have been announced as inductees for this year. It is going to be interesting to see if some other names are going to fill up the field with the names in this year’s Hall of Fame. Only time will tell if Lia Maivia is going to be inducted this year or in the years to come.
