“I always come back hungry,” Charlotte Flair isn’t content with 13 Championship reigns

Charlotte Flair is the most successful women in the entire history of the WWE Women’s division. She is currently in her 13th reign a WWE World Champion and no other women has ever won as many titles in the entire history of the company. In fact, there are only a handful of her male counterparts who have more Championship reigns than her.
Throughout her career, “The Queen” has won the Raw Women’s Championship as well as the Smackdown Women’s Championship six times each and the Divas Championship once. Flair is also a two-time NXT Women’s Champion, but WWE doesn’t include them in Flair’s total World title reigns. While Flair has time and again proved her in-ring prowess, she is also one of the biggest Heels in the company.
2021 has been a mixed year for Charlotte Flair. Days before she was scheduled to go after the Raw Women’s Championship at Wrestlemania 37, she tested positive for Covid. Unfortunately, she had to miss WWE’s biggest event of the year. But since returning post recovery, Flair has managed to capture the title not once but twice, and has been a Champion since Summerslam 2021.
In a recent interview with TV Source Magazine, the Smackdown Women’s Champion mentioned that she has come back hungry after Wrestlemania. And if her intent turn into results, Flair could even manage to break John Cena and Ric Flair’s all-time record of 16 Championship reigns.
“I just wanted to come back unapologetic. I just couldn’t keep apologizing for what I’ve accomplished. If someone else was in my spot, they wouldn’t apologize for being there. I realized I’m damned if I do, damned if I don’t. I just had to own it. I will never understand why people think I should be content with what I’ve done. I don’t want to be that person that just feels like I’ve peaked. I always come back hungry because there is so much more that I can do,” mentioned The Queen.
Charlotte Flair will be a part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match
In spite of being the Smackdown Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair will be entering the Women’s Royal Rumble match, scheduled to take place in a few days. The winner of the Rumble matches earn a Championship opportunity at the grandest stage of all – Wrestlemania. Considering Flair is already holding one title, she seems focussed on being a double Champion.
On the other hand, WWE Hall of Famer Lita also seems interested in challenging Flair at the Showcase of Immortals. This feud could rely on the fact that how the two Superstars interact during the Rumble match. Seemingly, the Hall of Famer is likely to eliminate the Smackdown Women’s Champion at the Rumble.
