John Morrison returns to in-ring action at WWE Main Event

Morrison

John Morrison has finally made his return to in-ring action. He was recently seen on the main roster shows, in brief backstage segments, where he was seen meditating. But it has been quite a long time since Morrison was seen in some active in-ring action. He recently appeared on the latest episode of WWE Main Event.

So far, WWE Superstars make a few appearances on WWE Main Event, before they are brought back on the main roster. Bearcat Lee had gone through a similar process, hence, we could expect Morrison’s return to the main roster in the coming weeks. On Main Event, Morrison competed against former Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews.

Commander Azeez, who accompanied Crews, interfered during the match, costing John Morrison the match. This might also be an indication that Apollo Crews too is gearing up for his return to the main roster. He has been missing since he lost the Intercontinental title. Crews tried to win it back a couple of times, but he failed every time.

Morrison on the other hand, has spent most of his time on the main roster, in the last one year, playing the second-fiddle to The Miz. The teamed up on several occasions, but usually Morrison just sat out cheering for The Miz. But finally differences creeped in between the two long time partners, leading to their feud.

John Morrison is likely to feud against The Miz

The feud between The Miz and John Morrison had just started taking shape, but before it could pan out into a complete feud The Miz went on a break from WWE. Miz is currently participating in the Dancing with the Stars, and that is keeping out from WWE.

Once The Miz is back, a blockbuster feud is expected between the two Superstars. With Miz being the Heel and Morrison being the Face. This feud could lead to the WWE Universe taking them seriously, as so far they had only featured in comedic segments.
