Is Kevin Owens moving to All Elite Wrestling?
Kevin Owens
Kevin Owens is all set to move to WWE’s biggest competitor in current times, All Elite Wrestling. At least, he has been teasing it constantly on his official Twitter handle. The teases began when two of the most successful former WWE Superstars made their surprising debuts on AEW.
Bryan Danielson and Adam Cole debuted for the company on their latest All Out PPV. They are the newest additions to the ever-growing roster of All Elite Wrestling. With their appearances, Owens started teasing his move to AEW. His contract will reportedly expire in early 2022, and it seems that Owens has already decided his next move.
In a now deleted tweet, Kevin Owens mentioned the coordinates of Mount Rushmore. Fans who have been following Owens’ or Adam Cole’s career prior to WWE might know that Mt. Rushmore also happens to be the name of a professional wrestling. This stable included Owens, Cole and The Young Bucks.
Interestingly, out of all the 4 Mt. Rushmore stable members, Owens is the only member left to appear on AEW! But the teases did not end just there. The host of WWE’s The K-O Show, also changed his location to “Almost there” on Twitter. While this confused several fans, some fans were quick to point out that Young Bucks’ Twitter location is “There.” All of this strongly points to Owens’ determination to move to AEW.
Kevin Owens recently kicked off a feud against Logan Paul and Happy Corbin
On the latest episode of WWE Smackdown, Kevin Owens hosted another episode of his talk-show – K-O Show. His guest was Happy Corbin, who did not walk out alone, but came in with Logan Paul. The last time Logan was in the ring with Owens, he received a Stunner.
Tensions ran high and both of them shoved each other. As soon as it seemed like Owens would hit another Stunner, Corbin knocked him down with a Chokeslam. This seemingly kicked-off a feud between Corbin and Owens. It could even lead to an exciting match at Extreme Rules 2021.
