Roman Reigns made his earth-shattering return to this week’s SmackDown. He came back after being on a hiatus since his last appearance. This return is special as not only has it revealed the direction for the Needle Mover heading forward, but also his brand status .

Following SmackDown, WWE moved the Tribal Chief from the free agent roster page to the official SmackDown roster. Previously, he was on the free agent page along with Brock Lesnar and Omos. However, his actions and his Bloodline story on the Blue Brand have made him Friday night exclusive going forward.

Moreover, Paul Heyman withdrew the Head of the Table from this year’s Draft. It led to him being undrafted and later on declared as a free agent. Besides, Reigns has a lot of unfinished business on SmackDown. He is in a family feud with Solo Sikoa and his crooked Bloodline lately. It has even made him join sides with his longtime rival Cody Rhodes.

Furthermore, the two stars are going to face Sikoa and Jacob Fatu at Bad Blood. It is going to be the first match of the Head of the Table since WrestleMania XL. Only time will tell how his story is going to unfold from here on. That being said, he is even rumored to have a rematch with the American Nightmare down the line. Therefore, being on SmackDown might be the right choice of the Needle Mover.

Why WWE stopped promoting Roman Reigns for their shows?

Ever since the return of Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, he has appeared on a few shows. In fact, WWE was not even advertising him for the said shows. This raised curiosity among fans. Now a report has finally shed light on why the Head of the Table was not advertised for any of the future events.

According to Fightful Select, WWE is making a calculated decision with the booking of the Head of the Table. They are keeping his appearance for major shows only. Besides, it also adds to the surprise factor of when and where the Tribal Chief would show up next.

As such, he is currently advertised for Survivor Series and Bad Blood only. The former Undisputed Champion is expected to have a WarGames match at the event in Vancouver, Canada. It is going to be interesting to see how WWE is going to manage this surprise factor with Reigns moving forward.
