“A Phenomenal Fight”: ‘World’s Scariest Man’ wants to battle Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson

Johnson and Ford

The Rock is one of the most famous personalities in the world. He was catapulted into global fame when he appeared for WWF (now known as WWE) in 1996, following the footsteps of his father, Rocky. He performed for the company for 8 years and is often regarded as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.

Dwayne Johnson had departed from WWE to pursue a career in Hollywood. Already a global icon, his acting career only solidified his popularity. The Rock is today one of the highest paid as well as the highest grossing actors in the world. Clearly, he has excelled as much, if not more, as an actor as he did whole he was a professional wrestler.

But this isn’t all. He is also an entrepreneur – with his own apparel line, tv shows and most recently he turned a rapper when he featured on a song titled “Face Off” on Tech N9ne’s recent album. It is quite clear that the actor gives his best at everything he does and has excelled more often than not.

But now it seems like he has found a challenger for himself in a whole new ring. “The World’s Scariest Man” Martyn Ford wants to have a boxing match against Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. Ford is currently gearing up for a bout against the “Iranian Hulk” Sajad Gharibi in April.

The six feet nine inches giant is quite confident of emerging victorious against Gharibi and has already set his eyes on facing Johnson. “I’d love to challenge The Rock to a fight. We’d make a fortune. It would be a phenomenal fight because he’s a great athlete. He’s very mobile, strong and comes from a wrestling background,” mentioned Ford while speaking to Muscle and Health.

Dwayne Johnson recently got the opportunity to kick off one of the biggest nights in sports. He gave the introductory address at the Super Bowl 2022. His address was filled with nostalgia as he brought out “The Rock” avatar during his address. But one of the fans noticed that he didn’t involve the fans during the address.

The tweet caught the attention of the People’s Champion and he got the fans buzzing with his reply which teases a WWE return. “Brother that was a little “Easter Egg” for you and the MILLIONS..Don’t worry…the MILLIONS with a *pause is coming soon…” – tweeted Johnson.
