“My time will come again,” Drew McIntyre reacts to his Wrestlemania 38 booking

McIntyre
Drew McIntyre is one of the top babyfaces on the WWE roster today. He has been with the company since 2007. He was even released from the company in 2014. But he worked hard and made a comeback to the company in 2017. While his initial run was lackluster, the second stint has been nothing short of remarkable.
Since then, the Scottish Warrior has been on a dream run. In fact, he was the biggest Superstar for the company throughout the Thunderdome Era. He kicked off 2020 with a Royal Rumble win and capitalized on it with a WWE Championship win over the then-Champion Brock Lesnar. McIntyre went on to hold the title for almost the entire year.
But Drew McIntyre’s dream run came to a screeching halt after he was attacked by Bobby Lashley and The Miz pinned him to win the title. It has been more than a year since that moment – and McIntyre has never held a title. He did try to go after the title on numerous occasions but came up short every single time.
Drew McIntyre has been involved in Championship matches since the last two back-to-back Wrestlemanias. But this year things have changed. The Scottish Warrior is nowhere near the Championship scene. He was recently announced to go against Happy Corbin at Wrestlemania 38.The fans aren’t happy with the fact that the 2-time WWE Champion is part of a non-title match.
“I’ve seen your responses and I appreciate the support. I’m in this industry to win titles and be in marquee fights, my time will come again. Corbin is a hell of a competitor, however he’s proved to be about as smart as he is funny picking a fight with me” – tweeted McIntyre with a video.
Drew McIntyre will face Happy Corbin at Wrestlemania 38

The Scottish Warrior has been at loggerheads with Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss for quite some time now. In fact, he has managed to pick up some decisive wins over Madcap Moss, even after interferences from Corbin. McIntyre was even out of action after a backstage attack from the duo.
The WWE Universe expected Drew McIntyre to be back to the title scene when he returns but that wasn’t the case. When McIntyre returned at Royal Rumble his feud against the duo restarted. He has been announced to collide against Happy Corbin on Wrestlemania Saturday – in what is expected to be the final bout of this feud.
