3 possible directions for LA Knight after heartbreaking loss at WWE Crown Jewel
3 Major directions that the WWE Universe might see LA Knight venture ahead.
LA Knight (via WWE)
WWE Premium Live-Event Crown Jewel 2023 witnessed several spectacular matches. The main event of the show was LA Knight vs Roman Reigns for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. Through several heel tactics, the Tribal Chief successfully ensured that he retained the title. Despite his tremendous efforts, the Megastar took the loss.
However, many in the Company believe that LA Knight is yet to peak. His showboat persona and his old-school wrestling style are nostalgic to the WWE fans. In a way, it affirms that the Megastar is one of the hottest commodities in WWE. His stocks are higher than ever and we might see him on a fresh start in the following 3 directions.
#3. Pursuing the United States Championship
The Mid-Card title is currently in possession of Logan Paul. The Maverick defeated Rey Mysterio at Crown Jewel to get his first singles title. The match was filled with amazing high-flying spots and breathtaking action. The Maverick even saved the Greatest Mask of all Time from a potential injury. However, he did play a bit underhand to secure his win.
The fact that the Megastar lost because of a distraction could mean that the Company wishes to protect his momentum. Moreover, the fact that Maverick is a part-time superstar could also become an angle. A possible rivalry where the people’s favorite Megastar dethrones him.
#2. Star for Team Smackdown
During Crown Jewel, WWE aired a promo to tease the next PPV, the Survivor Series. Fans were extremely excited to see the return of the War Games match. However, what could also be noticed was how the PPV theme had reverted itself to the Red vs Blue.
What the fans might notice is how the brand wars used to be a traditional 10-man tag team match. It could be the first time that we may see the brand wars get intertwined with the War Games.
As such, it could indicate a return to brand warfare. If that is going to be the case, the fans would love to see the Megastar lead the SmackDown team. Perhaps, even lead it to victory.
#1. Kick off a Rivalry with Kevin Owens
A rivalry with the newly added superstar to the SmackDown roster, Kevin Owens could be something out of the box for LA Knight. Traded against the former Bloodline Member, Jey Uso, the Prize Fighter is ready to make some tides. Despite his return, he has yet to engage in a high-profile feud that suits his stature. A feud between these two stars could be an excellent way to showcase their talents.
However, one of them will have to pick up the baton of heel persona. KO looks like a promising candidate for that role, but you never know, what else could the Game might have up his sleeve. The Megastar himself had a brief engagement with his heel persona, which he might not hesitate in bringing back after a loss against the Head of the Table.
