American football star, Aaron Jones, compared his fighting style to WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

Green Bay Packers popular star Aaron Jones paid a visit to Smackdown to watch the show. He got his custom legacy belt from WWE superstar Liv Morgan two weeks ago when she came to Green Bay for the Packers game. He met with several WWE legends, like Triple H, backstage and even had something to say about Rey Mysterio.

Kayla Braxton invited Jonas for a backstage interview about how he was feeling after meeting all these stars. He explained that meeting them was a “full circle moment” for him. His favorite wrestler was none other than Triple H, whom he referred to as his “childhood.” When he was asked if he wanted to fight with anyone, he immediately said his fighting style would be similar to Rey.

I remember my parents took me to my first one in Nashville, Tennesee when I was probably five or six years old. So, this feels like a full-circle moment to be here on the set. I think I'd go on more of that Rey Mysterio. Quick, fast... I can jump on the trampoline. Just counter moves, you know using my speed and quickness. I do have a little bit of strength, so I think I'll hang.

Jones’ team, the Green Bay Packers, has been going through an average season as they are in the 2nd-last position in the NFC North. Meanwhile, in WWE, he has shown interest in playing some part in the ring. It will be interesting to see whether he ever fights in the WWE or not.

Zelina Vega sent a heartwarming message to her idol Rey Mysterio

WWE superstar and member of the L.W.O. Zelina Vega sent her wishes to idol Rey Mysterio on his 49th birthday. She often referred to him as her ‘hero’ and was fortunate enough to share the ring with him.

Zelina took to Instagram and showed a lot of gratitude towards him. She said the Lucha legend has inspired her a lot, both personally and professionally. The 32-year-old shared a photo dump of the time they spent together, not just in WWE but also in different promotions.

Rey Mysterio has been out of action since he was taken out by Santos Escobar. He was last seen supporting his ‘successor’ Dragon Lee against his son Dominik Mysterio at NXT: Deadline. It is still unclear how long it will take for Rey to return, but all the fans hope that he returns soon.
