“He’s a natural,” When Adam Cole praised Pat McAfee and also called him a ‘JERK’
Adam Cole and Pat McAfee’s rivalry was pretty intense, to say the least. It all started when the former WWE star made an appearance on Pat McAfee’s show in 2020, where an altercation took place between the two. Cole got upset after McAfee laughed at his claims of being the king of NXT. This led to confrontations between the two over the past weeks to finally book a match between the two at NXT: Takeover XXX.
The feud culminated at the above mentioned event, when Cole delivered a Panama Sunrise to McAfee to win the match. However, the commentator was praised for his in-ring work and agility. Adam Cole himself showered praises on Pat McAfee but only to call him a “jerk” in the end. In an episode of The Kurt Angle Show a few months back, the former leader of The Undisputed Era reflected upon Pat McAfee.
While talking about the former SmackDown color commentator, Cole said that as much as he can’t stand McAfee, he is a natural talent who respects pro wrestling a lot. He said that it was fun to work a programme with a non-wrestler and even praised McAfee for his in-ring charisma. Adam Cole further called McAfee a true student and admirer of pro wrestling.
The Panama Playboy further called McAfee unbelievable when it came to work, but soon reflected that he still believes that the commentator is a real jerk. While talking to Kurt Angle, Cole said – “It was such a compliment for them to trust me with that role of getting to be in there with Pat. So he’s, again as far as someone being such a natural when it comes to this job, oh my goodness. Yeah. It’s unbelievable. He’s a real jerk, but he’s a natural.”
