“We make the *ss Boys retire like Vince McMahon” AEW star namedrops Ex-WWE Chairman in a rap, Mentions his retirement
AEW and WWE are two of the biggest pro-wrestling promotions in the world today. While WWE still enjoys a monopoly of some sort in the business, it has faced stiff competition from its much newer rival. While the two directly avoid clashing with each other but there have been instances where the promotions have come in face to face as their superstars have gone a step ahead and have namedropped the rival promotion in their promos directly or indirectly.
While this happens less in WWE due to more creative control of the management, AEW wrestlers can go all-in due to the creative freedom they enjoy. There have been various instances where we have seen AEW wrestlers speak about their rival company. One such instance happened at Today’s Dynamite as well when a superstar from the roster namedropped Vince McMahon and mentioned his retirement. Ever since Vince McMahon retired from WWE, a lot of reactions were coming in from the wrestling world.
AEW star Max Caster mentions Vince McMahon’s retirement in his latest rap
Some were shocked, some happy, and some were thankful as well. The AEW president Tony Khan didn’t leave the opportunity to take a jibe at McMahon as he thanked AEW fans for their support and said he can now become the longest-tenured CEO of a wrestling company. In a recent episode of Dynamite, The Acclaimed were set to face The Gunn Club in a Dumpster Match. It was during The Acclaimed’s entrance when Max Caster began to rap and, in his verse, he name-dropped Vince and mentioned his retirement.
Caster said- “Acclaimed gonna leave The Gunn Club in a bad way,” We got the match in the bag because it’s trash day. No filter, I ain’t Instagram, we make the *ss Boys retire like Vince McMahon.” Caster meant that their team will decimate their opponents and they talk with no filters which implied that they are free and will make their opponents retire just like Vince McMahon did. It also implied that since Vince’s retirement was quick as he announced it on social media, the same will happen to their opponents as well.
Well, this is not the first time when Caster has rubbed McMahon the wrong way. Earlier too Max had commented on a secret settlement made by Vince in relation to his sexual misconduct on which he had commented- “…Honestly I had something to say, but somebody made me sign an NDA.” Well, it seems evident that Max continuously takes it to the edge when it comes to dissing somebody. But will he have to pay a price for it, only time will tell.
