Tony Khan had become quite a big controversial topic after he posted a tweet on Vince McMahon. He spoke of himself being so proud of the fact that he is the longest tenured CEO of pro wrestling. He has now taken to Twitter to explain his tweet.

I was referencing that AEW Rampage was on and just the fact that of the big major companies, who I would consider ‘The big three,’ now I am the longest tenured [CEO] of course. I think if you consider pro wrestling, it’s a fair statement.” justified Tony. He felt that it is a factual statement. 

Tony Khan added that he said that only to promote Rampage. He preferred not saying anything further about the same. “I really care about Rampage a lot. On a Friday, sometimes I will try to promote Rampage in fun ways.” Fans have made it clear that it was all said because of his Rampage obsession. It is futile to justify things now since the damage is already done. 

The retirement of Vince McMahon has changed a lot of things in the WWE universe – be it the weird verbiage or be it the CEOs. There’s a lot more to witness in the upcoming days. Let’s wait and watch what the future holds.
