Backstage News over AEW stars making an unexpected appearance on Raw to acknowledge John Cena

John Cena is one name that is identical with WWE for the last twenty years as the former WWE Champion has been the face of the company for a better part of 20 years. John Cena who was a professional body builder decided to pursue a career in wrestling and made his debut through a promotion called Ultimate Pro Wrestling in 2000. Later Cena signed for WWE under a developmental contract which saw him move to Ohio Valley Wrestling. John Cena along side Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar and Batista would be known as the legendary OVW Batch of 2002.
John Cena made his debut in 2002 on Smackdown when he responded to Kurt Angle’s open challenge. Although Cena lost the match against the Olympic Gold Medallist he managed to make impression on several WWE superstars including the Undertaker. John Cena won his first title in WWE when he defeated Big Show for the United States Championship at Wrestlemania. Its been 18 years since Cena won his first championship in WWE now the Leader of Cenation is a record equalling 16-time WWE Champion and an overall Grandslam Champion.

John Cena celebrated his 20 year anniversary with WWE on Raw this week
The Leader of Cenation through his illustrious career has had many memorable feuds with the likes of The Undertaker, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Big Show to name a few. Cena recently completed his 20 years working with WWE and made an appearance on Raw to celebrate the same. With John Cena celebrating a milestone in his career wishes poured from all over the wrestling industry congratulating the former WWE Champion.
Former WWE superstars Bryan Danielson, Paul Wight and Chris Jericho made a rare appearance in WWE since there departure to congratulate Cena via a video that was showed during the episode on Raw. It is quite rare for former superstars who are working for other company to appear on WWE programming but it was reported by Fightful select that when WWE asked Tony Khan for permission to interview AEW stars he granted the permission given the circumstances.
John Cena cut an emotional promo on Raw during his celebration and was seen having a fun time with the WWE Universe.
