When you look back at some of the greatest Divas Champion of all-time in WWE history, the most obvious name that pops up is of AJ Lee who has won this very title on three separate occasions in her career and also holds the record for holding that title combined for the most number of days at 406. She made her official WWE debut on May 27, 2011 episode of Smackdown in a Tag-Team alongside Kaitlyn.

She was involved in a romantic storyline with Daniel Bryan which was widely appreciated by fans, the lowest point in their relationship came when at Wrestlemania 28, Lee provided a good luck kiss to Bryan and the bell got rang simultaneously at the same moment which allowed Sheamus to execute a Brogue Kick on him to capture the World Heavyweight Championship in bare seconds. After AJ won the Divas Championship from her former partner Kaitlyn at Payback 2013, she started a historic run with that title defending it on multiple events against various opponents and by January 2014 she became the longest reigning Divas Champion till date.

At Wrestlemania XXX, AJ Lee defended her Divas Championship in a special Vickie Guerrero Invitational Match against multiple competitors including Aksana, Alicia Fox, Brie Bella, Cameron, Emma, Eva Marie, Layla, Naomi, Natalya, Nikki Bella, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae and Tamina Snuka. The very next night on Monday Night Raw, the debuting Anti-Diva Paige pulled off a miracle and defeated AJ Lee to become the new Divas Champion subsequently ending her record setting title reign which came to a deafening crowd reaction. Following her loss, Lee was granted a period of hiatus.

On August 21st , 2013 edition of WWE NXT, the Black Widow defended her gold against one of the rising stars in Bayley. After a competitive battle, the experienced Diva planted Bayley with a Shining Wizard and retained the Divas Title. Nine years forward, Lee has been wrestling as she’s currently the executive of WOW (Women of Wrestling) and Bayley has become one of the greatest female superstars in WWE today.

During last night on Monday, Bayley quoted a fan tweet which had the images of their first and only WWE match which was the aforementioned Divas Championship showdown on NXT in 2013. Bayley tagged Lee and asked whether she remembers that Or not till date. The Black Widow was quick to respond and he came back to a wholesome reply saying last night was the 9th Anniversary of that match and ever since then she’s become pretty obsessed with Bayley seemingly indicating all the accomplishments she’s had over the years expressing her appraisal for The Role Model.
