AJ Styles has been one of the most talented professional wrestlers of all time. AJ Styles is a versatile wrestler and can be acrobatic and athletic at the same time. Styles is one of the best in-ring technicians and has been regarded as the pillar of the wrestling industry. AJ Styles is a decent talker and is at his best on the mic when he performs as a heel. Kurt Angle has compared AJ to the legendary Shawn Michaels and has described Styles as having outstanding in-ring psychology.

AJ Styles was already a big name in the wrestling industry before debuting in WWE. He was popular due to his stint in TNA. AJ Styles was a mainstay of the company and had been a part of it since its inception. AJ Styles has had some great feuds during his time in TNA with legends such as Sting, Kevin Nash and Kurt Angle. Styles has been a 2-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion, and the First TNA Grand Slam Champion. The PWI ranked him no 1 in their list of Top 500 Wrestlers of 2010.

In 2016, AJ Styles made his WWE debut at the Royal Rumble by participating in the Royal Rumble match. He entered at the no 3 position and eliminated Curtis Axel and Tyler Breeze in the match. Styles’s Debut received huge crowd pop and has been regarded as one of the best debuts in the WWE.

AJ Styles was eliminated by Kevin Owens in the match but he lasted for 29 minutes in the Rumble. Within a year from his WWE debut, he became a WWE Champion by defeating Dean Ambrose at the Backlash 2016 and it was the first title win for Styles in WWE. He held the title for 140 days and was defeated by Cena at Royal Rumble 2017.

Since his WWE debut AJ Styles has been a part of the Company’s flagship event; The WrestleMania for a seven times and has a decent record in it. He has won 7 times and lost 3 times, with once defending the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura and has also been the Undertaker’s last opponent before his retirement in 2021.

During his recent interview with Fightful Select, AJ Styles revealed about a major WWE star he wanted to face at WrestleMania. AJ Styles has named Triple H as one of the wrestlers he wanted to face at the WrestleMania. AJ said that he couldn’t get Triple H to fight against him at WrestleMania and now with The Game being retired, Styles said that he would love to fight some young talent and wants to have a good match before his retirement. As of now he is unsure of who his next opponent will be at the WrestleMania.

“Well, the last person I tried was Triple H. I didn’t get him. I don’t know who the next guy is or if there will be another one. Now we’ve got the younger talent coming up. Maybe I’m the match that they would like to have. I would like to have some good ones before I retire. Who knows? I don’t know who’s going to be next. None of us do. We’ll just have to see what happens.”

This week on RAW, AJ Styles was defeated by Ciampa for the no. 1 contender match for the United States Championship on RAW next week.
