“Used to love having”- Alexa Bliss shares her current opinion on donning the Cosplay inspired gears in the WWE

This year hasn’t been great for Alexa Bliss up until now, but the WWE might certainly have some plans for her. Bliss’ Character has been spiraling downward since Bray Wyatt’s departure last year, but now with Wyatt back in the company, fans can hope for a reunion of Bliss and Wyatt.

The last time that Alexa Bliss fought for a WWE Women’s Championship was against Charlotte Flair last year at the Extreme Rules PLE, which she failed to win. Thereafter, she was also a part of the No. 1 contender match at the WWE Elimination Chamber but failed to win the match.

Alexa Bliss has been recently teaming up with Bianca Belair and feuding with The DAMAGE CTRL, and she even teamed up with Belair and Asuka at the Clash at the Castle Live event, but they ended up in a losing cause.

Thereafter, Bliss just appeared on the September 19th and October 3rd editions of RAW, and on both editions, she was defeated by Bayley and Iyo Sky in a singles match. Bliss has been performing at the Live events but hasn’t appeared on television thereafter.

With Halloween around the corner, many WWE Superstars sport cosplay-inspired gear, and one cannot forget Alexa Bliss in terms of this. The former RAW Women’s Champion has been known to bring out some iconic gear in the ring.  

A user on Twitter posted a GIF of Alexa Bliss dressing as Freddy Krueger from the 1984 classic Nightmare on Elm Street. The fan applauded Bliss for setting the bar high when it came to dressing up for Halloween in cosplay-inspired attire. Alexa Bliss noted the tweet and replied to the user, saying that back in the day it used to be fun, but not anymore.

“Used to love having themed gear! Now so many themed gears out there. Doesn’t feel as fun anymore.”

Why is Alexa Bliss absent from the WWE?

Alexa Bliss has been absent since her last appearance on RAW on October 3rd. Bliss and Asuka have both been missing since then. Though Alexa Bliss has been spotted at live events, Asuka has not, leaving fans to question what has been going on with the two WWE Superstars recently.

According to Wrestling Newsletter Observer, the reason for Asuka’s absence might be that she is recovering from an injury, whilst Bliss’ absence could be that she is having her character rebooted. It has also been believed that Bliss has been kept off the show because she may return alongside Asuka after she recovers from her injury, forming a tag team.

Meanwhile, Bianca Belair will defend the RAW Women’s Championship at the Crown Jewel Premium Live Event in a last man standing match. Belair, effortlessly and single-handedly, came to grips with The DAMAGE CTRL at the Extreme Rules and her fans expect the same from her again as they don’t expect Bliss and Belair by her side at the event.
