Alexis Cabrera well known around the world as Alexa Bliss is former WWE Smackdown Women’s Champion who currently works for WWE on Raw. Alexa Bliss who was a cheerleader during her school and college says decided to pursue wrestling as a career and signed with WWE in 2013. With no prior wrestling experience the developmental contract saw Bliss move to NXT. Alexa Bliss started out in WWE as a ring announcer and made her in ring debut against former divas champion Alicia Fox whom she defeated via pin fall. Bliss during her time in NXT had memorable feud with the likes of Sasha Banks and Bayley.
Alexa Bliss made her main roster debut in 2016 when she was drafted to Smackdown and participated in the tournament to crown the inaugural Smackdown Women’s Championship where she lost. In late 2016 Alexa Bliss defeated Becky Lynch in a tables match to win the WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship which was the first title of her career. After dropping the title to Naomi bliss managed to win it back when she again defeated Becky Lynch to win the title for second time, making her only two time Smackdown Women’s Champion.
Alexa Bliss has an opportunity to win the MITB match for the second time
Bliss during her time with the WWE has had a very successful career, Bliss has managed to win the Smackdown Women’s Championship twice, Raw Women’s Championship three times and is also a multi time WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion. After a hiatus Alexa returned to Raw in May and defeated Sonia Deville on her comeback.
Since her return in May the former Women’s Champion was on roll and was undefeated in all her matches. Alexa Bliss also won the MITB qualifying match and is set to take part in the name sake match that would grant her an opportunity to challenge for the title. Her winning streak was broken on the most recent episode of Raw when Alexa was pinned by Liv Morgan handing Bliss her first loss since her comeback.
Many people weren’t happy about Alexa Bliss losing to Liv Morgan and these fans took to twitter to criticize the match. One user went as far as calling Morgan a sub par talent and one user called Bliss ‘Pathetic’. Alexa Bliss however had the most polite and at the same time savage reply for the twitter user. She replied with a single word.
