Former WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon made WWE the global icon it is today. However, the creater and founder is nowhere near his beloved child anymore. Despite his retirement in July earlier this year, Mr. McMahon has been a major talking point for everyone, from fans to dirt sheets.

The world knows of the hush money allegations levelled against him, but that is the past. Since the allegations were leveled, McMahon faced the brunt of fans and critics online for his attitude with female talent.

WWE Hall of Famer Alundra Blayze appeared on the A2thek Wrestling Show. During the interview, the former Women’s Champion opened up on her time working with Vince McMahon. Blayze, also known as Madusa, spoke kindly about her former boss. Despite a series of recent catastrophes affecting Vince McMahon, the WWE Legend listed down something that would perk everyone’s ears.

Alundra Blayze noted that Vince McMahon was always good to her, and even defended the recent allegations leveled against him. She said, “Vince was never that person that you have heard lately of, you know, misogynous acts, lascivious ways or anything like that. He was a man that told me that I was there to uphold and, carry the women’s division and be the face.”

Blayze added, “So that’s what I believed in. I was holy hell on wheels. That’s what we did we tried. And there wasn’t much of a roster. My roster was me. We don’t have a roster of like 75 women like they do today.”

As made public by WWE themselves, the Hush Money investigations over McMahon are done. By the looks, things didn’t proved too fatal for the billionaire. However, some fans started wondering whether the former Chairman can crawl back into the helm, somewhere down the road.

WWE recently revealed their private investigation of Vince McMahon’s hush money allegations were officially complete. Since then, fans wondered if the former WWE Chairman would resume his duties and once again regain the throne.

Well, nothing to worry about it. The retirement is permanent and he ain’t pulling off a miraculous WWE return. Fightful was told about the same by key people in the company. More likely so, he may appear for some special occasions on WWE shows, nothing more.

We’re over three months into the post-Vince McMahon era and things have felt different. Triple H taking over as creative lead works well and fans appreciate that. The talents are happier than ever and backstage morale is at an all-time high.

It won’t be odd to say that McMahon leaving WWE came as a blessing in disguise for the company. Not taking an inch of share away from Mr. McMahon. After all he’s the godfather of this business. However, his time was up and the change was definitely needed.
