Asuka reacts for the first time after rumors of her asking WWE for release circulate

WWE superstar Asuka was rumored to be unhappy with WWE and had asked for her release. However, The Empress of Tomorrow seemingly debunked the rumor with a cryptic message. Asuka was a huge deal when she joined the main roster in 2017.
Following her debut on the main roster, she was undefeated for quite a while. However, the streak was broken by Charlotte Flair at The Grandest Stage of Them All. Since then, Asuka has descended from the main event scene and been involved in the mid-card division. She faced Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39 for the Raw Women’s Championship.
Following her loss against Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 39, Asuka hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since. Her absence from television created speculation among fans. Apparently, there have been rumors circulating that The Empress of Tomorrow asked for her WWE release. Amid all the ongoing speculations and rumors, Asuka broke her silence with a short message: “Is this world full of lies? Or is it full of shit?“
Asuka’s cryptic response, seemingly confirmed that The Empress of Tomorrow isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. She once fueled the rumor of her leaving, saying that she might as well go back to Japan. Her fans in WWE responded saying that they would certainly miss her if she left.
Ever since joining WWE, Asuka has gained a massive fanbase. She was involved in compelling storylines. Moreover, fans showed much support for her during her babyface run. The WWE Universe has voiced its opinion, saying that Asuka deserves to be involved in a bigger storyline and be given more attention. Therefore, fans hope to see The Empress of Tomorrow in action soon.

Has Asuka been drafted to any brand yet?
The WWE Draft took place this week on the April 28th edition of Friday Night SmackDown. However, Asuka’s name was not on the list of eligible wrestlers for the draft on Night One.
Fans hope that the former Raw Women’s Champion gets drafted at either of the brands at least by the end of the event. The second night of Draft is going to take place on the upcoming week’s Monday Night Raw. Stay tuned to find out if Asuka is drafted to RAW or SmackDown.
