It looks like Austin Theory didn’t have a great tour of Australia. First, he was caught in an argument with a journalist. Afterwards, he got attacked by Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes at the Elimination Chamber event in front of 50,000 fans. Following the PLE, Theory broke his silence about the incidents that happened to him in the past few days on social media. 

The 26-year-old star took to Instagram and shared his picture in the ring with a caption saying he was surrounded by haters. It was an indicator that everybody in Australia did not like him, including Cody and Rollins. Theory kicked off ‘The Grayson Waller Effect’ and fans started booing him, as they were interested in seeing his tag team partner, Grayson Waller.

During the segment, Theory did an unexpected thing and snatched the microphone out of Waller’s hand. He berated The American Nightmare for challenging to fight The Rock and then went on to say his catchphrases. The WWE Universe cheered as Rhodes and Rollins interrupted him and attacked him to close out the segment.

The segment wasn’t well received by fans, as it felt lackluster and without any big announcements. Cody dropped a hint on a future in-ring encounter with The Rock. Rollins also shared the good news about his injury, asserting that he will be better than ever even before WrestleMania. As for Theory, he will not take this humiliation at the Elimination Chamber lightly and will surely have something diabolical planned in mind. 

Will Austin Theory and Grayson Waller split following their segment at the Elimination Chamber?

The Grayson Waller Effect ended with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins attacking Austin Theory with their signature moves. However, many fans noticed that Grayson Waller did not interfere and just watched on when the duo was attacking Theory.

The reason behind this could be the sudden, aggressive mic snatch from Theory, which sent Waller in shock. When the 26-year-old was addressing the WWE Universe, he just stood in a corner with a shocked look on his face. When Rhodes and Rollins attacked him, he didn’t try to help his tag team partner at all.

This little touch of attention to detail planted the seeds for Theory to finally turn face and have a feud with the Aussie. They could have a singles match at the Biggest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania. It will be interesting to see what Waller’s response will be after Theory brings this incident up in the upcoming weeks.
