“The first thing you think of is…”- Austin Theory recalls the moment he found out about Vince McMahon’s retirement

This Saturday during the Match involving Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle Live event, Austin Theory attempted a MITB contract Cash in. Austin Theory rushed to the ring with his contract and a referee and proceeded to cash in, when Tyson Fury who had been at the ringside knocked him out with his punch.
Austin Theory hasn’t got the perfect moment up until now and he has attempted two cash ins up until now. The first being at SummerSlam, where he failed as he got an F-5 from Brock Lesnar. Austin Theory is known as Vince McMahon’s Prodigy and is really doing great and meeting everyone’s expectations. He even had his mentor Vince McMahon by his side, when he faced Pat McAfee at the WWE WrestleMania 38 Live event.
After he was defeated at the event, Vince McMahon Challenged McAfee for a match and won the bout with the help of Austin Theory. The Match also marked Vince’s final match before his retirement. Vince McMahon retired on July 22nd and thereafter Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan took over the control.
During an Appearance on “SHAK Wrestling” Theory has now spoken about the moment when he found out Vince McMahon had retired. Theory stated that when Vince resigned, the first question he asked was who was in control, and when he found out that Stephanie, Triple H, Nick Khan, and Bruce Prichard were in charge, he realized he had a strong connection with them.
“So, to me the first thing you think of is, ‘Well, who’s in charge?’ I think as soon as I found out who the team was, Stephanie, Triple H, Nick Khan, Bruce Prichard, just having those people that I have a good relationship with all of them.”
Austin Theory revealed whether he was worried about his position
In the same interview Austin Theory spoke whether Vince’s retirement will affect his position in the company. He stated that Vince’s retirement broke the hearts of many people, including himself, because they had been following Vince for a long period. According to Austin Theory, Vince laid the groundwork for all of the superstars we see today. Austin Theory stated that he was disappointed, but after learning about the new creative team, he no longer needed to be concerned.
