Austin Theory has been going through a lot of changes lately on the main roster. He has been the United States Champion for quite some time now. However, his title run has been lamentable, and Theory seems to have lost his luster. According to fans, Triple H and WWE Creative buried the 26-year-old. However, Austin Theory squashed all the negativity and lashed out at fans who claimed such things.

During a conversation on the Babyfaces Podcast, Theory addressed the fans who are criticizing his title reign. The United States Champion said that the Internet is a dynamic platform. According to him, one day, someone can be the greatest thing, and the next, they can be the worst. He further added that no matter what someone does, people will always find a way to criticize them.

Speaking about his booking under Triple H, Austin Theory said that fans will always spread negativity about whatever a superstar does.“If there’s nothing being said, then there’s a worry there,” he said. He affirmed that in the world of the internet, people will always have their opinions. Theory believes that being a trending topic among fans should be a priority.

The 26-year-old was in the limelight on the main roster under Vince McMahon’s regime. However, things changed quite a bit with Triple H taking the position of Creative Head. Although Hunter did repackage him and make him win the United States Championship, things did not turn out well for the former NXT star.

Theory has been discussed internally for having a babyface run as soon as he drops the United States Champion. As of now, he will be defending his championship against Santos Escobar on SmackDown. It is going to be interesting to see how the future shapes up for him.

While speaking on the Babyfaces Podcast, Theory revealed an interesting incident when he received words of wisdom from John Cena at WrestleMania 39. The 26-year-old said that the WWE legend suggested him to enjoy his victory and the moment.

Theory further went on to say that he had prepared well for that match and was confident regarding his performance that night. Moreover, the United States Champion revealed the success mantra of John Cena that he follows. “Betting on yourself, just going for it.” he said. Austin says he always believes in himself and doesn’t get bothered by others’ opinions.
