New WWE Women's Tag Team Champion
WWE Women’s Tag Team tournament has just ended and it has made every single person shock. The finals of the tournament took place this week’s Raw and we crowned Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah as our new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. The tournament has been going on for three weeks and it has finally made the new champions.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship was vacated as the former champions Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on an edition of Monday Night Raw after disagreeing with Vince McMahon on a booking decision of the championships as they were getting booked badly and were not even considered as legitimate champion. Sasha Banks and Naomi are suspected to come back but the current champions are starting to face backlash from now.
Backlash on Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah
The new team won the championship but there are some very controversial remarks. The team was up against Bayley’s new faction control members Dakota kai and Iyo Sky, the match was a normal match but the ending was controversial some of the fans pointed out a huge mistake on WWE’s part.
A fan tweeted that the match ending was a bit of fuzz as the Dakota Kai thing was very weird as she lost the match as the illegal woman in her last two matches. She tapped to Asuka which was not legal and she even got pinned by Aliyah in the finals which were also not very legal.
The Fan’s tweet exactly was, “This Dakota Kai thing is weird because she lost the match as the illegal woman in their last two matches. She tapped to Asuka (but wasn’t legal) and she got pinned by Aliyah (but wasn’t legal. I hope this isn’t already leading to her leaving the group.”
Other fans have agreed with this tweet and even said that this decision may even lead her to break the team and the booking of the match seemed very bad due to this Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah the new champs have also had backlash as no one saw them winning the title. It is rumored that Banks and Naomi is coming back soon in WWE to challenge these two for the championships.
