Damage CTRL peaked as a group at SummerSlam when Iyo Sky cashed in her MITB contract on Bianca Belair. Belair had won the title after a brutal match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair, only to lose it to Sky minutes later. On the latest episode of SmackDown, Damage CTRL continued their carnage as they attacked Bianca Belair in a backstage segment.

Belair was in an interview with Cathy Kelley when the two were suddenly interrupted by the trio, who brutally assaulted the EST and took her out. This got a lot of heat from the fans, as Belair is one of the most popular stars among female superstars. After the episode, Bayley took to Twitter to react to the video of the attack. The video was posted by WWE’s official account with the caption, “These brutal attacks from #DamageCTRL need to stop.”

The former role model reacted to the video, saying, “Don’t be freakin stupid.” Therefore, it looks like the group does not plan on letting anyone challenge Iyo’s title. Before the attack, Bayley and Iyo Sky teamed up to take on the team of Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair. However, Bayley and Sky came out on the losing end and decided to vent their frustrations on Belair.

It is not yet clear who will be Iyo Sky’s first challenger for the Women’s World Championship. Currently, Charlotte Flair, Asuka, and Bianca Belair seem to be the obvious options. However, Bayley can turn on her group member and also challenge for the title. Therefore, fans will have to wait and see who is revealed to be the first person to face Iyo Sky after her title win.

The latest episode of SmackDown was anticipated because WWE Hall of Famer Edge had his last match under his contract with WWE. The show was taking place in Toronto, which is Edge’s hometown. However, apart from Edge’s match, there were a few more matchups that had the potential to main event a show. One such match was between Bayley and Iyo Sky vs. Charlotte Flair and Bianca Belair.

The four women faced off against each other for the first time. Bayley and Sky had teamed up several times before the show, which was not the case for Flair and Belair. The two had not teamed up for a lot of matches. Therefore, fans did not know who would win the match. As expected, the four women executed a spectacular match.

Flair and Belair managed to get a victory over the Damage CTRL. However, fans will have to see how the events unfold in the upcoming episodes to see what happens between Charlotte Flair and Belair. This is because both women are eyeing the same title and might be obstacles for each other in the process.
