Top female star hints at facing Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso for the Undisputed Tag Team Championships

Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are regularly defending their championships. Before appearing on SmackDown, the American Nightmare issued an open challenge for their titles. As a result, former Women’s Champion Bayley answered to that on X.

She replied to Cody Rhodes’ post and wrote that she misses being a champion in the company. Moreover, Bayley asked Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai for their opinion on challenging Cody and Jey for the tag titles. “I like the sound of that. I miss being a champion. What say you, @Iyo_SkyWWE and @ImKingKota?” she wrote on X.

However, it was Austin Theory and Grayson Waller who answered Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso’s open challenge on SmackDown. After a grueling match, Jey and Cody came out victorious. As for Bayley, she was involved in a match against Zelina Vega last night. It’s been a while since the Role Model has held a championship on the main roster.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are currently involved in a heated feud with The Judgment Day on Monday Night Raw. It will be interesting to see the future paths of the two superstars, as they had an epic face-off with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline this week on SmackDown.

Cody Rhodes nearly spikes himself during botched move on WWE SmackDown

Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes defeated Austin Theory and Grayson Waller for the Undisputed Tag Titles on SmackDown. However, during the closing sequences of the match, Cody Rhodes landed on his neck yet one again, leaving fans concerned. It was similar to what happened this week on Raw.

While performing the new finishing move, which is the combination of Jey Uso’s 1D and Cody Rhodes’ Cody Cutter. Rhodes landed in an awkward position. He nearly spiked himself while hitting the penultimate move. This was the second time that Cody made a botch while performing the same move, as he landed in a similar way on Raw as well.

The WWE Universe has been quite concerned for Rhodes and they believe that the latter should stop using this finisher. In the closing moments of the match, Rhodes delivered a Cross Rhodes to successfully defend his tag team championship along with Jey Uso.
