The partnership between the WWE and NFL has proven to be quite successful. Over the past few months, fans have seen superstars collaborate with the football league, gifting teams with Legacy championships. As such, Bayley recently handed over a custom belt to George Kittle at the San Francisco 49ers game.
The former Women’s Champion was in attendance at Levi’s Stadium for the NFC West match. Prior to the game, the Role Model presented the home team’s Legacy Title to Kittle. Afterwards, the two conversed for a while before posing for a photo. Despite the support and presence of the WWE Superstar, the 49ers lost to the Los Angeles Rams by one point.
Surprisingly, this wasn’t the first time the player indulged in the professional wrestling business. Previously, Kittle attended WrestleMania 39, where he helped Pat McAfee pick up a win against The Miz. Moreover, he has expressed his love for the industry, praising the wrestlers on multiple occasions.
Last week, Logan Paul interacted with Kansas City Chiefs’ QB, Patrick Mahomes. The United States Champion had just signed the player to a partnership with his hydration drink, PRIME. WWE has slowly been blending in with other sports and mainstream media attractions. This is one of the notable changes brought in under Nick Khan‘s stint since he became the president of the Stamford-based promotion.
Bayley will look to eliminate the ‘Bianca Belair’ problem on SmackDown
The ongoing Damage CTRL storyline on SmackDown has been one of the intriguing elements of the show. Most notably, Bayley’s struggle to maintain her role as leader with her control seemingly fading away over the last couple of months. This continued on the latest edition of SmackDown when Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky ‘ordered’ the Role Model to take care of Bianca Belair.
Therefore, the segment set up a match between Bayley and Belair for next week’s episode. This bout will add more to the story involving the former Women’s Champion as she looks to win the Royal Rumble match. Already, the 34-year-old is considered by the WWE Universe as the odds-on favorite to headline WrestleMania.
While Bayley has revealed her intentions to challenge the Women’s World Champion, it is likely she will face Iyo Sky. Needless to say, it will be a captivating watch as the company begins the Road to WrestleMania soon.
