The event took place at the Tokyo Dome in Japan. The Boss confronted former WWE superstar Kairi Sane at the event. Banks proceeded to shake hands with the IWGP Women’s Champion but deceived her by attacking her.

She then took the mic and introduced herself as the CEO of the women’s division. Sasha Banks and Kairi Sane will now face each other for the IWGP Women’s Championship at the Battle in the Valley event on February 18.

Sasha Banks’ former rival and Tag Team partner Bayley reacted to Banks’ NJPW debut. Bayley reacted on Twitter by posting just one word. She simply wrote Banks’ new last name, “MONÉ.”
