The Christmas fever for the WWE fans ended rather abruptly when AJ Styles suffered an injury during the WWE Live Event. AJ Styles along with the complete OC was facing The Judgment Day when the dreadful impact occurred. The house show that took place in Hershey, PA wasn’t a great one for the OC. As Styles jumped off from the top rope, no one expected him to not get up after the impact.

Many images appeared to show the scene with Styles sitting next to the steel steps holding his leg. As Karl Anderson and Mia Yim sat alongside Styles, the referee showed a big ‘X’. While many claim it to be a part of WWE’s storyline, a report by PWInsider claims that the injury is ‘100% legitimate.’

Answering the queries of the fans, the report also said, “We are told it was ‘likely’ an ankle injury and Styles will be getting it checked out ASAP. Until he gets that done, there’s no way of knowing if and/or how long he will be out of action.” no one from the OC has updated the condition of ‘the Phenomenal’ until now.

As clear from the video clips floating across Twitter by the live audience reveal that AJ Styles couldn’t walk on his own and had to be helped backstage. AJ’s fans are very worried about the injury that Styles underwent today.

With Royal Rumble around the corner, the injury might have a big impact on Styles’ career. The OC is one of the most loved factions and their rivalry with the Judgment Day was gathering a lot of praise. It now appears that WWE will have to put the faction in new storylines.

AJ Styles has been one of the top names on the WWE card and his appearance in the Royal Rumble won’t be shocking for the fans. However, with his injury taking a front seat, the plans now appear to be bleak. The final confirmation can be made only after the medical team deems him fit for action.

If fate allows, Styles may get away with a minor sprain and the fans will be able to watch him get back in action at the Royal Rumble. However, if the injury goes up to the extent of ligament tear, muscle rupture or fracture, he will have to take a break from WWE for quite some time. FirstSportz extends best wishes for a speedy recovery to ‘The Phenomenal One’ – AJ Styles.
