Ronda Rousey recently returned to Friday Night SmackDown a few weeks ago after losing her SmackDown Women’s Championship to Charlotte Flair. However, the former champion ignored her title loss completely. Instead, she continued to decimate the women’s tag team division along with Shayna Baszler over at the Blue brand. Now, it seems that her future plans are potentially getting more clear as Rousey got into a Twitter battle with the Damage CTRL leader, Bayley.

The Baddest Woman on the Planet recently called out the current women’s Tag team champions, Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai, on Twitter. However, the SmackDown superstar seemingly made an error in her tweet. Ronda Rousey added an ‘N’ to Damage CTRL’s name tweeting, “Apparently the entirety of the Smackdown tag division is @NatbyNature plus whatever poor soul she can recruit to her lost cause this week. #USOs defend their title every week, #DamageCNTRL has defended like twice in 6 months. What the hell is going on here?”

Please spell the champs name right. And then show up to some live events and watch them defend the tag titles weekly. https://t.co/tNBlxlIHLg

Bayley was quick to point out this mistake in her reply. The Role Model also mentioned that Damage CTRL has defended the tag titles at WWE live events multiple times. Ronda Rousey wasn’t one to hold back though, as she replied with two of her own tweets. She called the champions Bayley’s ‘cronies’ and mocked their “title defense” in these “glorious untelevised” house shows.

People used to spell my name with an H all the time. My first strikeforce fight they printed posters at the Palms with my name spelled wrong. I didn’t bitch or moan, I laughed and said “give me that poster, it’s gunna be worth a lot of money after I burn my name into everyone’s… https://t.co/haVe1srXQO

And don’t worry, me and all 15 people in Champagne, Illinois will be watching your cronies’ glorious untelevised “title defense” tonight https://t.co/TbgEvD3pUy

Damage CTRL will defend their Tag Titles on Raw

Becky Lynch Lita Raw
Becky Lynch and Lita crash Bayley’s “Ding Dong, Hello!” segment on Raw (via WWE)

It seems that Ronda Rousey’s wish will get fulfilled this Monday as the women’s tag team champions will put their titles on the line against Becky Lynch and Lita. The match was made on the last episode of Raw when the babyface team interrupted a “Ding Dong, Hello!” segment hosted by Bayley. Interestingly, the challengers also raised the same issue as Ronda did in her tweet to goad Bayley into agreeing to the match.

The rumors are that Trish Stratus will soon join the alliance between Becky Lynch and Lita. This might potentially lead to a 6-woman tag team match at WrestleMania. If this comes true, the WWE Universe would be ecstatic to see the two Hall of Famers under the brightest lights after so long. However, the dominant run of Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler cannot be ignored over at the blue brand. The duo might rise as the next contenders for the championship after the current feud comes to an end.
