“Guess I have more work to do”- Bayley hints a possible return to WWE NXT 2.0 in a response to Cora Jade’s actions last night
Bayley and Cora Jade
Bayley has been playing hide and seek about her return for a long time on social media. Although nothing is set in stone, PWInsider reports that The Role Model is scheduled to be in Nashville for Summerslam weekend which probably means we are inching closer and closer towards her ultimate comeback to WWE.
She played a little trick and confused some fans by recently reacting to Cora Jade’s heinous actions last night on NXT 2.0 after the latter dumped the newly won NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships with her former partner Roxanne Perez on whom Cora turned last week attacking her from the title and her skateboard. Roxanne faced NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose last week in a singles non-title match, but at one point when Roxanne was getting into the ring through ropes, her own partner Cora Jade took one of the Women’s Tag Titles and slammed her back with that causing her to lose the match.
After The Toxic Attraction went aside of the ring, Cora came into full effect and destroyed Roxanne. After dumping those Women’s Tag Titles into a dumpster last night and calling her partner a bit*h, Cora said she knew that Roxanne only used her as a way to get towards that NXT Women’s Championship and called their sweet little alliance a lie.
Reacting to this, Bayley took to Twitter and said “Guess I have more work to do”. Well, its definitely interesting to say the least as to why the former Smackdown Women’s champion is poking her nose into an unfamiliar business. You can check out the related tweet below.

Bayley has been out for over a year healing up her torn ACL
Last year around days before Money in the Bank, Bayley got injured which denied her an originally scheduled shot at Bianca Belair’s Smackdown Women’s Title in an “I Quit” match. It was revealed that she would be out for months to cure up her torn ACL and that came as major setback for the WWE Universe who were waiting to see their Role Model back into action in front of themselves.
Rumours currently are heating up for a surprise return of former Hugger at WWE’s second biggest show of the year – Summerslam, but we can only hope for her to finally show up on Saturday night of 30th in Nashville.
