Former Women’s Champion teases one more match with Sasha Banks amidst WWE return rumors

Mercedes Mone, a.k.a. Sasha Banks, is rumored to return to WWE. After months of tease, fans are pretty confident about the return of the Blueprint to WWE. Recently, former Women’s Champion, Bayley talked about her bond with The Boss. The 34-year-old superstar also shed some light on the possibility of her having another matchup against Banks.

Bayley, in her interview with Sports Illustrated, heaped heavy praise on Sasha Banks. During a conversation, she stated that her match with The Boss was destined to happen. The Role Model emphasized that her chemistry with Banks is like no other superstar. Moreover, the former Women’s Champion also assured her fans that her next match with Sasha was not going to be their last.

Besides, Banks and Bayley have shared a WWE ring numerous times in the past. The two stars are popular among fans for their classic 30-minute Iron Woman match at NXT TakeOver: Respect in 2015. Apart from that, they have even been a part of a successful tag team in WWE and have won Women’s Tag Team Championships multiple times.

There have been several teases, and many WWE veterans have also predicted Banks’ return to the company. The 31-year-old superstar left WWE in 2022 after some friction between her and WWE creative. Only time will tell if Sasha Banks returns to WWE or not soon.

Bayley wants to face Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania

Bayley is highly rumored to win the Women’s Royal Rumble match this year. There have been a lot of dream matches for The Role Model, including a match with The Eradicator, Rhea Ripley. In her interview with Sports Illustrated, Bayley was asked about the possibility of her facing Mami at WrestleMania.

Bayley spoke highly of Ripley in her interview. She stated that if anyhow she faces Mami at the Showcase of the Immortals, it is going to be a dream match. Moreover, the former Women’s Champion added that Ripley is one of the most popular superstars in WWE, and she is on another level of dominance.

If I’m able to work with her at WrestleMania, that would just be a dream match I never even thought of before, She is obviously untouchable. She is the most talked about woman on TV right now and she backs it up.

Although The Role Model is rumored to win the Royal Rumble match, her facing Mami at this point in time at the Show of Shows is less likely. Her possible match is speculated to be against her Damage CTRL mate, Iyo Sky, for the Women’s Championship. As for the Eradicator, she and Becky Lynch are on a collision course that will culminate at WrestleMania in Philadelphia.
