Becky Lynch is all set to participate in this year’s Women’s Money In The Bank ladder match. She has her eyes set on winning her first MITB briefcase. Lynch recently posted a picture of her practicing and getting help from Kevin Owens. The former Raw Women’s Champion accidentally kicked Owens in the nose.
Money In The Bank is scheduled to take place at the O2 Arena in London, UK this year. The lineup for the Women’s match was finalized after the recent episode of Raw, when Trish Stratus defeated Raquel Rodriguez via disqualification. Bayley, Iyo Sky, Zoey Stark, Zelina Vega, Becky Lynch, and Trish Stratus are going to participate in the ladder match. The match will determine the new Women’s MITB winner.
The former Raw Women’s Champion recently posted a video of herself training. Lynch was seen practicing how to set up a ladder and climb it with ease and speed. She was able to do it with ease when Kevin Owens joined her. The Man tried to take his help and told Owens to pull her down by her leg. This is a common move to stop her opponent from climbing up.
However, it turned out that Lynch was ready to defend the attack, as she immediately kicked the Tag Team Champion in the nose. Owens fell to the ground, but he was happy to see that Lynch was prepared for the match. Watch the video here.
The two superstars share a long history of friendship, as they also shared time in NXT before coming up on the main roster and winning multiple championships. Becky Lynch is often seen with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn in backstage segments in WWE.
Becky Lynch cost Raquel Rodriguez a spot in the MITB Ladder match
The Man wrestled Trish Stratus at Night of Champions. She was about to win when Zoey Stark interfered and cost Lynch the match, aligning with Stratus. Becky Lynch and Stark were already qualified for the ladder match. Stratus had her qualifying match on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw.
She faced off against Raquel Rodriguez, who was also determined to win the match and go on to win the MITB Briefcase. Trish Stratus was accompanied to the ring by Zoey Stark, who was casting distractions as the match began. Becky Lynch came down to the ring to settle the scores for Rodriguez.
The plan, however, backfired, as in the commotion, Becky Lynch attacked Trish Stratus. This caused the referee to award the win to Stratus via disqualification. As a result, Raquel Rodriguez lost the spot in the match, and Becky Lynch unknowingly helped the Hall of Famer win.
