If there’s something called hitting ones’ leg with their own axe, Becky Lynch showed a practical example of that on Raw this week. In a rare occasion, Trish Stratus competed tonight against Raquel Rodriguez in a women’s Money in the Bank qualifier. The match was surprisingly good with cool spots all around. Zoey Stark stood ringside to support her mentor. Everything went fine until Stark decided to play a factor into the match.

At one point, when Rodriguez was dictating the match pace, Stark tweaked her leg on the ring apron. Seconds later, the former got steamrolled by Becky Lynch. The Man came out of nowhere and started pulverizing Stark. After bouncing her multiple times on the barricade, she felt all the adrenaline pumping inside her. So much so that Lunch never realized to not put her hands over Stratus too.

Amidst that euphoria, Becky went with the flow and drove the Hall of Famer into the barricade as well. After that, referee called for the bell as the match ended in a disqualification. That being said, Lynch unintentionally aided Trish Stratus to book her ticket to London. After getting aware of the blunder she committed, the Irishwoman scratched her head and even had to face an irate Raquel Rodriguez.

Although they never got in a brawl for that, Lynch owes Rodriguez an apology for robbing her out of a golden opportunity. Anyways, it remains to be seen whether WWE would use this fact in a future storyline between them. After the match, Lynch stopped by Byron Saxton backstage. She said everything she did is on her and The Man seemed pretty confident of bagging the gold at the O2 arena next month.

Whatever transpired at Night of Champions last month isn’t forgotten by Lynch. She’s yet to avenge her painful loss from the event in Jeddah. The unholy alliance of Trish Stratus & Zoey Stark have been aching the Irish lass kicker for quite a while now. She doesn’t keeps any backup by her side as opposed to the 47-year-old former women’s Champion.

At some point, these women will slug it out once again. However, to get there, Becky first needs to neutralize Zoey Stark. At Money in the Bank, Lynch would need to overcome that sickening duo to achieve the golden climb to that briefcase hanging high above the ring.
