The Allegiant Stadium was packed with fans when Becky Lynch’s music hit the arena and the crowd went frenzy to give “The Man” one of the loudest pops of all time. Standing in the ring were Bianca Belair and Carmella in utter disbelief as they were not able to process what was happening at the biggest party of Summer. But guess what the party had just begun. Moments later Becky would first take out Carmella and then within 26 seconds would defeat Bianca Belair to become The New Smackdown women’s champion.
‘Becky Lynch’s Summerslam 2021 return has been described as one of the best returns in this era. But it seems like history between these isn’t going down anytime soon as the two are ready to square off against each other at this year’s SummerSlam as well. On the July 18 edition of Raw Bianca Belair was scheduled to defend her Raw Women’s Championship against Carmella but before the match could begin, Becky entered to announce that she would be facing the winner of the match at Summerslam on July 30.

Though Bianca was successfully able to defend her title this would now mean that she will have to face “The Man” for her Raw Women’s Championship at Summerslam. While fans are pretty excited about the match it would be interesting to see whether Bianca would be able to save her title this time. In a tweet posted by WWE India, it read- “Can @BeckyLynchWWE once again become champion at #WWESummerslam.
The tweet also had Becky’s pictures from SummerSlam 2021. Retweeting the tweet Becky wrote- “This is the Comeback Story of A Lifetime”. It has almost been a year now where Belair and Becky both are at odds. Bianca won the title by defeating Asuka and Becky Lynch and thus “The Man” would look to claim her title back from the former NCAA Trackstar.
Wrestling lovers and observers have enjoyed the Lynch-Belair rivalry ever since it began. Becky brings that energy to the ring while the charisma of Belair is unmatched as well. Both have great in-ring chemistry which results in great storytelling and compelling matches that are a treat to watch. It would be interesting to see who would have the upper hand at the Summerslam PPV as both would look to take their revenge.
