The wrestling industry melted down when WWE officially announced that Jade Cargill had signed a multi-year contract with WWE. The former TBS Champion jumped from AEW to WWE, becoming only the second person to do it after Cody Rhodes. Becky Lynch gave her opinion on the newest addition to the women’s roster and the possibility of the two facing each other soon.
While talking to the New York Post, Becky Lynch was asked to talk about Jade Cargill. On Jade as a potential opponent for her in the future, Lynch answered, “I watch all the products. I think it’s great. More women with more platforms. I think she has a lot of work to do when she gets here, but if she is willing to do that, just look at her. She’s a star. It’s more people for me to get in the ring with and kick their asses.”
Jade Cargill is undoubtedly one of the biggest signings that WWE has made in a long time. Her title reign with the TBS championship in AEW was great. It helped her establish herself as one of the most dominant women in all of wrestling. Rumors were that for a long time, Cargill might be jumping ships from AEW to WWE following her match with Kris Statlander on Rampage a few weeks ago.
Fans have begun speculating about the potential matchups for Jade Cargill in WWE, envisioning bouts against top women like Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, and others. As Cargill prepares for her highly anticipated debut at the Performance Center, fans anticipate a significant moment when the 31-year-old finally appears on WWE programming.
