Business in NXT is about to pick up as Becky Lynch has come around. Fresh off her triumphant outing at Payback against Trish Stratus, The Man is moving on. She had an unadvertised cameo during last night’s NXT episode. That said, the 36-year-old interrupted Tiffany Stratton after she successfully defended her NXT Women’s Title against Kiana James.

Tiffy wasn’t able to put in much before Becky Lynch cut her. The Irish Lass Kicker admitted that Stratton’s title is something the former hasn’t been able to capture. However, that could very well change next week as Lynch vs. Stratton for the NXT Women’s Title was made official. This match didn’t come out of the blue.

This rift stemmed from Tiffany botching Becky’s name on NXT a few weeks ago. Stratton inadvertently included Lynch’s name in the list of the greatest NXT Women’s Champions ever. Once the 24-year-old realized her mistake, it was too late. Instead of crying over the spilled milk, WWE decided to make a storyline out of it.

Becky and Tiffany had a backstage encounter at Payback last Saturday. The Irishwoman teased that it wouldn’t be long before she goes after the NXT Women’s Champion. After what transpired on NXT this week, they will fight in a dream clash next Tuesday. Only time will tell whether the real-life Rebecca Quinn shuts down an ever-confident Tiffany Stratton or not.

There’s no doubting the fact that Becky Lynch is one of the greatest names to have graced the WWE ring. Moreover, she has been an integral part of women’s evolution in the company. Lynch doesn’t run after accolades anymore, as she already has an abundance of them. By no means she is close to being done in that squared circle. However, Becky’s at a point where she’s ready to put over new talent.

Her feud with Tiffany Stratton might just be the beginning. Who knows what’s in store for Becky shortly? Her absence upset the fans. However, they might have got their answers now. As for Tiffany, the consensus called for something special in her title reign, as she’s not been up to the mark as of late.

A proper feud with Becky might ignite that fire inside the reigning NXT Women’s Champion. Well, that’s something the WWE management would be hoping for, too. Fans had criticized her saga with Trish Stratus for the unnecessary length. Thanks to their steel cage match, which squashed the critics to end their rivalry.
