Becky Lynch’s prolonged rivalry with Trish Status reached a breaking point on the recent episode of Monday Night Raw. The bout was rumored to happen at SummerSlam, but the stacked match card pushed it to Trish’s home country of Canada. As the match did not make it to The Biggest Party of the Summer, Lynch continues taking shots at Triple H as the creative control head. This time, a T-Shirt she wore taunted at the lemonade exchanges between them.

Big Time Becks wore a black T-Shirt with a lemon printed on it and her name written on the sides. She shared two pictures of her on X, as she stood upright in one and made a sour gesture in the second one. She wrote the caption, “Never Bitter. Never Better.” stating that the lemonade (product of the lemons) shall never taste bitter. Her excitement for the coming match was seen as she added #LFG (Let’s f*cking go) followed by #WWERaw in the caption.

The T-Shirt is named ‘When Life Gives You Lemons’ as stated by WWE Shop. The Man then made her entrance for the match with the lemon shirt and walked up to the ring. WWE Creative has turned a small remark by The Game into merchandise and a big thing that is enjoyed by the fans. Lynch’s tweet during SummerSlam started the exchange, while Hunter’s response during the SummerSlam Press Conference made it a hilariously big deal.

Trish and Becky’s match came out as a disappointment for the fans, who had highly anticipated it. Stratus’ botch and the no-contest outcome made it a fairly subpar bout between the two megastars. The only good thing about this match is that a third match in this rivalry is set to happen in the coming weeks. Adam Pearce announced a Steel Cage match between the two, which could go down at the Payback event in September.

Why did Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus miss the main event spot on Raw?

The anticipated bout between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch happened on the August 14 episode of Raw. The special episode aired live from the Canada Life Centre in Winnipeg. Trish being a Canadian superstar, and with the buildup, the match was expected to be the main event of Raw.

But in a shocking turn of events, it was put in the semi-main event spot considering the outcome. The bout ended in a no-contest, with both superstars getting counted out as they brawled in the crowd and went backstage. Thus, WWE thought of ending the show with a conclusive matchup.

So, WWE could have a third match between Becky and Trish in the coming weeks. Considering the result of this match, a steel cage match between them has been made official by Adam Pearce. It is yet to be known when it could take place, but speculations could be made for the Payback event.
