Back in 2019, it was well-known that Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were in a relationship. WWE saw this as an opportunity to make it into a big storyline, but it didn’t work out as expected. The Man explained what went wrong and why she hated the storyline with her husband.

Becky Lynch gave an interview on Entertainment Tonight and talked about the storyline they were involved in as a couple. They had a rivalry with Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans and had an Extreme Rules match in 2019. At that time, both were world champions, and it was stipulated as a ‘Winner Take All’ match. The couple came out victorious in that feud and retained their titles.

However, The Man said that she, along with the audience, didn’t like the feeling of it. She hated that they were shown as a romantic couple but not as two top stars who could fight side-by-side. Lynch expressed her desire to work with him on screen again, but only if they are treated right.

This was the first poster that we were ever on as a couple. That storyline was awful, one of the worst in history. I'll tell you why, because I thought this would be cool you know? Two bada*s champion fighting side by side.. as a fan, I wanna see that. But, the story that went was Becky and Seth are in a real life relationship everybody, in case you didn't know. They beat it into people's throats.

Lynch will wrestle in one of the toughest matches in her career, as she will challenge Champion Rhea Ripley for the title at WrestleMania. On the other hand, The Visionary will defend his World Heavyweight title against Drew McIntyre at the Show of Shows. It will be interesting to see whether the couple manages to reach the top of the mountain again or not.
