WWE has made a huge update on Becky Lynch‘s in-ring return on this week’s Monday Night Raw. Lynch was involved in a gruesome Extreme Rules match against Tiffany Stratton at the “NXT No Mercy” premium live event this past Saturday. Despite retaining her title, the match took a toll on her body. It was revealed that she had suffered many injuries during her match.
The NXT Women’s Champion suffered deep wounds during her bout, requiring 11 stitches. This injury led WWE to postpone her scheduled match against Tegan Nox on this week’s Monday Night Raw, originally set to be for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Fans were concerned about Lynch’s injury during her match. However, it was later announced that the postponed match would occur next week on Monday Night Raw. Becky Lynch will take on Tegan Nox in a one-on-one match, as the latter earned a title shot last week after defeating Natalya.
Lynch has always wanted to be a fighting champion and continues to be the same. On the September 19 episode of Raw, she issued an open challenge for the championship. Natalya answered the challenge and failed to capture the gold. Last week’s Raw had a qualifying match between Tegan Nox and Natalya, where the former earned a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship.
Becky Lynch confirms that she will appear on NXT this week
Despite injury, NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has confirmed that she will be in NXT this week. With her recent victory at No Mercy, Big Time Becks seems to have put Tiffany Stratton in the rearview. Lynch shared a video on her X confirming the same.

In the video shared by Lynch, fans could see The Man having a conversation with Indi Hartwell. The latter was admiring the beauty of the Championship and clicking photos of it when the champion interrupted. Hartwell told Lynch that she was clicking pictures of the title she never lost. As a result, Becky Lynch told her that she is not hard to find and in fact, can come around to NXT tomorrow.
The Man of the Masses also mentioned that she would be looking for her as the next contender. It would be great to see Indi Hartwell challenge Becky Lynch for the NXT Women’s Championship. Simultaneously, Lynch should not look past Tegan Nox while not being 100 percent.
