Becky Lynch’s RETURN Date and Future Plans Reportedly Revealed

Often dubbed as The Man, Becky Lynch was last seen at Summerslam 2022, where she unsuccessfully challenged for the title against Bianca Belair. During the match Lynch had received a broken shoulder injury on the premium live event. Due to the injury Becky Lynch was pulled off from the shows for several months. Many people were suggesting that she would be back by the end of September.

But, now we are moving towards October end and there was no update on Becky Lynch’s arrival until now. Fightful Select has recently confirmed that the former Women’s Champion will not be able to make it before 2023. Lynch was recently spotted with husband and United States Champion Seth Rollins at an NFL game and many fans had speculated about her status of current injury.

Becky Lynch Not be Back Before 2023: Reports

According to the report, upon contacting WWE, it was discovered that there were no plans for Becky to return in September. The company was expecting that the injury that she had sustained at Summerslam would not require surgery and would heal after Lynch would spend a couple of months in rehab and then return to action.

However according to reports, Becky Lynch was present at The RAW site this past Monday, but her physicians and doctors as of early September had suggested that the former RAW Women’s Champion would require at least a couple of months before she can get near a WWE ring.

Thus, it seems like Lynch would not be able to return before 2023. Though the creatives in the company look out for Lynch to return by the end of 2022, it looks like we have to wait to see Lynch on screen. WWE reportedly had big plans for Lynch including putting her in a big feud with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania for SmackDown Women’s Championship.

Though the plans are not cancelled for now but if the injury doesn’t recover faster and Lynch doesn’t get the required medical clearance, it can seriously put the WrestleMania plans in jeopardy. Therefore we would have to wait and watch if Becky Lynch can make a return before 2023 or not.

Because, to give it a big match feel a proper build up storyline would have to be built between Rousey and Lynch as they are reportedly scheduled to square against each other at the grandest stage of them all and that too at Hollywood.
