Becky Lynch has consistently delivered thrilling performances in women’s wrestling, showcasing her talent and hard work since her wrestling debut. Recently achieving Grand Slam Champion status by capturing the missing gold, she reflects on her WWE journey in a recent interview as the NXT Women’s Champion.
Becky Lynch recently joined Chris Van Vliet on Insight, discussing her WWE debut and current status. Reflecting on holding the NXT Women’s Championship, she expressed, “It is the one that got away. It is the one that I was never pegged for when I was coming up to NXT.“
Becky reflected on her journey, admitting, “I was very close to being fired constantly, and not unjustly—I probably deserved it.” Recalling her struggles in NXT, she expressed her joy at returning to the brand.
She said that capturing the NXT Women’s Title was something she wanted for a long time. The Champion said, “Anyway when I got to NXT, I was like Oh no this is it I’ve got it, I’ve got it. And it was like holding a flower you know like I was suffocating it because I wanted it so badly.”
The Man went on to say, “Nobody probably thought I was going to ever win any championships. They thought I was probably just going to be there and be a fine little hand. Enthusiastic little hand that I was. And so going back … all these years later, in a way feels like vindication.”
Becky Lynch, a pivotal figure in WWE‘s Four Horsewomen, has been instrumental in revolutionizing women’s wrestling. Recently, she attained the Women’s Grand Slam Championship, further cementing her status.

In a recent interview with the New York Post, the NXT Women’s Champion spoke about the WWE women’s division. Becky Lynch talked about a few women who, according to her, deserve the spotlight.

The NXT Women’s Champion was quick enough to drop the names of Zoey Stark, Indi Hartwell, Xia Lee, and Candice LeRae. Becky Lynch feels these superstars have much potential and deserve elevation. The WWE Universe believes that all superstars have the potential to be big names in the company if WWE books them in the right way.
Becky Lynch will defend the NXT Women’s Championship at No Mercy against Tiffany Stratton. The winner of this match will go on to face Tegan Nox on the next episode of Monday Night RAW. Lynch has been giving opportunities to all the superstars in the women’s locker room.
