After what transpired in the main event of NXT this week, Becky Lynch has etched her name in the history books. After weeks of tug-of-war between her and Tiffany Stratton, both women finally collided for the NXT Women’s Title last night. It has to be one of the most incredible female matches NXT has witnessed in quite a while. Professional as ever, neither of the women showed recklessness. Instead, they were a treat to watch.

Nevertheless, Tiffany was about to retain the gold when he went for her patented Moonsault on The Man. However, Lynch got out of harm’s way and planted Stratton with the Manhandle Slam. After that, Tiffy’s time was over, as she succumbed to a much more experienced competitor in Becky. As soon as the referee counted to 3, the revamped Performance Center came unglued.

With that triumph on NXT, Becky Lynch has now become a Grand Slam Champion in WWE. The NXT Women’s Title was the only strap that had eluded the Irishwoman in her decorated WWE career. She now has undisputed control over NXT’s women’s division. As for Tiffany Stratton, there’s nothing for which she should look down on herself. She’s been an amazing talent and a superstar in the making.

Quite possibly, they’d run it back for the NXT Women’s Title at No Mercy. The card is already shaping up to be a can’t-miss show. There’s little to no chance that Becky drops the title before having a significant run with it. Just imagine the variety of high-caliber matches she could have with the highly talented locker room there in NXT.

Becky Lynch earned Trish Stratus’ respect after WWE Payback

Earlier this month, fans witnessed the culmination of Becky Lynch’s rivalry with Trish Stratus. After being robbed of a spot at SummerSlam, both women had a point to prove. And guess what? Lynch and Stratus knocked it out of the park with their steel cage match at Payback. Opening the show, the torchbearers of their respective eras gave everything they had.

Becky eventually got the win, and after that, she earned Trish’s respect. Taking to her Instagram, the WWE Hall of Famer posed with her bruised frame. She simply wrote, “#ThankYouBecky”. The Man was quick to reply and showed mutual respect in return to the Canadian great. Trish Stratus seemed done with wrestling for a while if her feud against Big Time Becks wasn’t the former’s last hurrah.
