It can be said without a shadow of a doubt that Becky Lynch, Kevin Owens, and Sami Zayn are pivotal cogs in their respective divisions. They’ve established themselves as absolute workhorses for the company. It’s fair to say that all three are among the best wrestlers in WWE. All of them had a very successful WrestleMania 39.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn won the undisputed tag team titles in the main event of WrestleMania Night 1. While Becky Lynch was part of a stellar 6 woman tag match. Currently, KO and Zayn are tag team champions and so is Becky along with Lita.

Recently, Becky took to Instagram to share a memory of how she met KO and Zayn. The three of them were part of an Indie tour to Italy over 17 years ago.

She mentioned that she knew they’d be friends for life, but they’re like brothers to her now. The post shows Becky along with her husband Seth Rollins in tears of joy after Zayn and KO won the tag titles.

Becky, Rollins, KO, and Zayn all built great careers in the indie circuit before being scouted by the Triple H led NXT. Having performed all over the world it was obvious that they would become mainstays of the new era. Becky was one of the pillars of the women’s revolution in WWE. In fact, in 2019, she was considered the biggest name in WWE.

Owens made his main roster debut by laying out John Cena, he quickly went on to rack up titles. His title win at Mania made him the 23rd Grandslam Champion. All four stars had great WrestleMania matches (Sami and KO having arguably the best match of the event).

What’s next for Becky Lynch, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens?

With the Damage CTRL in the rearview, Becky and Lita will defend their titles against Raquel and Liv Morgan on RAW this week. The woman’s tag division lacks serious competition. Maybe the inclusion of the likes of Becky and Lita would pump some life into the division.

Whereas KO and Sami’s entanglement with the Bloodline appears to be far from over. Solo Sikoa ambushed Owens on last week’s SmackDown. It is unclear whether this is a storyline injury or whether he is actually hurt. Sami was almost on the receiving end of a beatdown until the returning Matt Riddle made a save. 

The storyline with the bloodline has reached a saturation of sorts. There are plenty of exciting tag teams and a storyline with them would elevate both parties involved.
