Becky Lynch lately discussed the prospect of facing Trish Stratus in the future with Featured Cut Of The Day. The two women have mocked one other, especially on social media, about competing against each other. Taking advantage of it, WWE even exploited their online banter into a commercial storyline during a recent live event in Canada where Stratus was the special host.

Lynch recently revealed that she’s all ready and set to square off against the Hall of Famer. She said, “If Trish Stratus wants to go, I am ready to go.” She also spoke about how she was a fan of Lita and yet beat her recently at Elimination Chamber, referencing what she would do when and if the two step in the squared circle of WWE. She went on by saying, “But I think she should know that I destroyed her bestie. Her bestie, who I loved, who was my hero, who was my idol. I wasn’t a Trish Stratus fan, so just imagine what I will do to her.”

Trish had been advertised as the host of Saturday’s Kitchener, Ontario and Sunday’s Toronto, Ontario house performances for some time, but Big Time Becks stirred the pot in the days before up to these live events by threatening to destroy Stratus. Lynch claimed on Saturday that she was detained by Immigration at the airport for two hours at midnight, with her little baby in tow, all because of Trish.

Then on Sunday, special guest host Trish Stratus delivered her own slap to the face of the former Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch during a WWE live event from Toronto’s Coca-Cola Coliseum. This is the latest in a string of tensions between Stratus and Lynch, with some believing that it might all lead to a programme between the two in the future. It’s unclear whether Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch will face off in the future, but there are plenty of seeds that have already been planted in the event that this bout takes place.
