“I became The Man” Becky Lynch reveals why she will prevail against Bianca Belair at Summerslam

Becky Lynch is all set for her match against Bianca Belair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at SummerSlam on Saturday. The two have had a fair share of rivalry which started when The Man returned from a 15 months break and defeated Belair in just 26 seconds to win The SmackDown Women’s Championship. SummerSlam has always been special to Becky when it comes to Title Matches. The Man made her first SummerSlam appearance in 2015 when she teamed up with Charlotte Flair and Paige in a 3-Way elimination match. But, Summerslam,2018 gave Big Time Becks the career-defining moment she was looking for when she attacked Charlotte Flair after losing a triple threat match turning heel in the process.
The segment would then lead to redefining Becky Lynch as The Man, a gimmick that received a huge pop from fans.Becky in a recent interview with Sony Ten revealed why SummerSlam has been special to her and presented a strong case for why she should be called Miss SummerSlam.Becky said – “It was the first pay-per-view [premium live event] I think I was on, on the main roster, so it means an awful lot. It’s where I’ve had a lot of big moments. I won that first SummerSlam that I was on and like I said when I slapped the taste out of Charlotte Flair’s mouth, I became The Man.

Then last year, well, we all saw what happened when I came back after having a baby, being away for 15 months, and beat Bianca Belair in 26 seconds.” In the same interview, The Man testified that she will beat Bianca Belair at Summerslam to reclaim the title. Also while sharing her favorite moment from the SummerSlam Lynch said she really liked the moment when she slapped the “bejesus” out of Charlotte Flair. She also sent a short message to WWE Universe in India that she is very eager to come to the country and fight some matches over there as well and asked them to keep supporting her.
Becky also revealed that her daughter is her biggest inspiration and motivates her to keep going. She said that she wants to show her daughter that anyone with hard work, determination, and passion can achieve whatever he/she wants no matter what background they belong to. Becky exclaimed- “That’s my motivation, my little baby.“
I need to prove to her that anything is possible. You can be a mother and still be the best in what you’ve chosen to do. You can inspire the world, and to be the greatest and you don’t have to have any restrictions. It doesn’t matter if you came from a small town in Ireland, and the people said that you will never amount to anything. You can be whatever you want and so that really drives me.”
