“That was not supposed to happen”; Becky Lynch expresses concerns on fan attacking Seth Rollins on Raw

Seth Rollins was attacked by a fan a few months ago while the Visionary was feuding with Big E. His wife Becky Lynch came out and stood back on the stage trying to understand what happened and was Rollins alright after the impromptu attack. Though many superstars reacted to the attack and called it a bad gesture, Lynch showed a lot of concerns on the attack.

While talking to Ariel Helwani of BT Sports, Lynch expressed a lot of concerns for his husband Seth Rollins after the fan attack and said that it should never have happened. The former Raw Women’s Champion also said that nobody knew what could’ve happened and what he had with him and that she was confused why nobody went over to help Rollins. Here’s what she said:

“I was backstage. First, I was like was somebody supposed to go ahead and tackle him? Wait, that’s not one of our boys and the fact that they didn’t go back to it, then I thought something was wrong and I ran out to the curtain to see what happened. Of course [I was worried], yeah. That is not supposed to happen.”

“Fans are not supposed to attack the entertainers. Also, you don’t know what anybody has on them. That could have been incredibly dangerous and could have been way worse, especially when you’re in the mode and focused and you don’t expect somebody to be charging at you a million miles an hour. Then tackling you to the ground. But I thought he handled it perfect.”

Becky Lynch lost her Raw Women’s Championship to the EST of WWE, Bianca Belair at the most stupendous two night event in WWE history. While many felt that the Man would come back to the new champion even more stronger , Big Time Becks has not appeared in WWE TV since then. Lynch has been spotted in some live events and has been active in social media as well, her future in WWE seems uncertain.

While Becky Lynch is likely to face a returning superstar among Asuka and Bayley, many feel that the former Raw Women’s Champion could team up with her husband Seth Rollins and confront Cody Rhodes and a returning Brandi Rhodes. If this is true, it could be a huge opportunity for the company to bring Lynch and Brandi back to the squared circle in the most exciting way possible.
