Becky and Ronda were slated to fight at the Survivor Series, 2018 but all that changed after Becky was legitimately injured by Nia Jax when the later gave a stiff punch injuring Becky’s nose and giving her a concussion. This led to Becky being removed from the card and Charlotte Flair replacing her. Becky and Ronda, being two of the top superstars and involved in a singles bout will be a big draw for the WWE, since now, both are working full-time again.

Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey last wrestled in 2018 at Wrestlemania 35 in a first ever women’s only main event. The main event also involved Charlotte Flair, and both major Women’s titles were at stake.

Becky was in the best storyline of her career as “The Man” Becky Lynch, with a stone-cold like no-nonsense personality which was loved by everyone. She eventually pined the Baddest Women on Planet and became a double champion cementing her legacy as one of the best wrestlers in the WWE history.

In an interview to Seconds-out’s Lissy Almeida, Lynch was asked about her opinion about her eventually happening clash with Rousey on Wrestlemania and why this time the bout is going to be different:

“I mean sure, sure, but now it’s different. We are in different positions than we were in 2019. I don’t need to step-up to her anymore, she needs to step-up to my level now, so come on, just bring it, Ronnie”

There have been reports of WWE booking a match between Rousey and Lynch. But that’s far too long. As of now, Becky may be be facing “The Empress” Asuka at WWE Backlash 2022, after the empresses’ return on RAW. Becky recently lost her Women’s championship to Bianca Blair after spectacularly winning it at last year’s Summerslam in just a matter of seconds.
