WATCH: The Fabulous Firebird Beth Pheonix makes a surprising return to save his husband Edge from the clutches of Judgement Day on RAW

It seems that Monday Night Raw under Triple H’s creative control cannot get less exciting. After a shocking return of Johnny Gargano, legendary WWE Diva Beth Phoenix also made a brief return to Monday Night Raw. Edge and Damien Priest were scheduled to go head to head for the first time on a sold out Monday Night Raw in Edge’s home town-Toronto, Canada.

The match was scheduled to be the main event for the night and as the match began the homeboy got a great reception from his home crowd as they gave a huge pop on his entrance. Beth Pheonix is also shown sitting ringside and is in tears to see husband fighting in his hometown after a long gap of 12 years.

Beth Pheonix returns to save her husband from The Judgement Day

Edge beat Damian Priest in the main event but was attacked by The Judgement Day before Beth Pheonix made the save.

In the starting minutes of the match both superstars tried to overpower each other as Damian Priest took the upper hand when he slammed Edge on the announcer’s table. The match would then continue as both of them display exemplary in ring action as they hit each other with signature moves.

Priest hit Edge and Christian’s signature move Unprettier and Edge turned the clock back when he hit an execution on him. As the match procedure towards the ending moments Edge tried to lock Priest into a Figure 4- leg lock but Priest would be quick to encounter as he kicked Edge but this would subsequently lead to referee Charles Robinson getting knocked out.

Priest then pulls up chairs in the ring as he would try to hit Edge with his finisher South of Heaven but Edge would be quick to react and then break the support rod of the chair to lock Priest into a face cross with the rod in his mouth. Edge would soon release Priest and prepare for a spear but Priest quickly would pick up the support rod and hit Edge with it before pinning him.

Charles Robinson would then roll back to the ring and start counting the pin but Edge would kick out at 2 to break the count. Edge would then hit Priest with a Canadian Destroyer and then with a spear to pick the win over his former prodigy Damain Priest. But as soon as the match got over Edge got out to bring some chairs to attack Priest to settle some score but was attacked by Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor.

Rhea hit Edge with a thundering low blow to baffle him while Balor hit Edge with his signature Coup de Grace. The Judgement Day stood tall in the ring but before they could do anything more, The Fabulous Firebird Beth Pheonix would come to her husband’s rescue as she stood tall against Rhea Ripley and Judgement Day as the show went off-air. Now it would be interesting to see how this feud takes off now when Beth Pheonix has also entered the equation.
