WWE’s plan regarding Beth Phoenix and Edge’s future reportedly revealed
Edge and Beth Phoenix have a pending rivalry with the members of the Judgment Day. The recent reports reveal when the duo will turn up in the ring.

Edge and Beth Phoenix
Beth Phoenix and Edge have established themselves as WWE’s power couple. 2022 proved to be a great year for the two stars since it marked their return to the company after a long time. The Edge has been in a constant rivalry with the Judgment Day in the last few months before he disappeared from the ongoing WWE storylines.
Edge fought against Finn Balor in an ‘I Quit’ match. Edge claimed his dominance in the ring as he withstood everyone from the Judgment Day with full valor and courage. However, the stable kept trying relentlessly. They tried with all their might to compel the Rated R Superstar to give up on the match. Beth Phoenix came to support her husband, but eventually, her presence proved to be a weakness for Edge. The Judgment Day started attacking Beth, which ultimately forced Edge to quit.
Beth received a massive blow from Rhea Ripley, leaving Edge heartbroken. The two haven’t appeared on the screen since then. While fans have wondered about their whereabouts, it now appears that the company initially had some plans for the couple. Fightful Select reported, “As of late November, WWE had Edge penciled in for the first couple of PLE events of the year.”
Edge’s disappearance from the WWE screen is also due to the ongoing movie schedule that he is on. His limited appearance has reduced his storylines with Finn Balor. However, with Royal Rumble hardly a week away, The Edge is bound to return to the event if the rumors are to be believed.

Edge will take on Finn Balor at the Royal Rumble

The Rated R Superstar has given so much to the world of pro wrestling, and there’s hardly anything left that he hasn’t achieved. He has himself opened up about quitting wrestling in his hometown of Toronto, and his retirement is massively expected to be in 2023. However, he won’t let go of things easily.
Wrestling News Co. reported that WWE will fuel the unfinished rivalry between Edge and Finn Balor with Balor turning up in his iconic ‘Demon’ gimmick. If the match is being planned, Edge will show up before the Royal Rumble to challenge the Judgment Day leader at the PLE.
RAW XXX is all hyped up with multiple top names in the industry. WWE has kept a lot of plans a secret from the entire WWE Universe regarding the surprise entrants, and there is a high possibility that Edge will turn up at the event. If he does, then the Royal Rumble feud is a sure thing. Rumors of Edge and Beth Phoenix taking on Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley to conclude the rivalry are also going around. Fans are eagerly waiting to see what the future holds for their favorite couple.
